Record stores in Adana

The map for Adana, Adana's record stores is still blank. Our search covered roughly 40 km around Adana, looking through OpenStreetMap for record stores, and turned up nothing mapped so far. Blank maps are usually a mapping gap rather than a real gap. This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so a blank today can be a full guide tomorrow.

Why record shops matter

A record shop is a town's music memory: the staff who know, the regulars who dig, the new-arrivals bin that's different every week. Algorithms don't do any of that. That's why this page exists even with nothing to list — we'd rather show an honest blank than invent shops in Adana.

Adana sits about 37° north of the equator, so it gets proper seasons. Winter is peak digging season: dark evenings, the new-arrivals bin fresh from the autumn collection sell-offs, and nowhere better to spend a Saturday.

Every shop that gets mapped here appears in alphabetical order with what the community map knows: address, hours, website. No sponsored slots, ever.

Digging smarts for Adana

No mapped record shops yet, but the digging skills work anywhere. Four worth knowing:

• Check the dead wax. The runout groove holds matrix numbers that identify pressings. Collectors live by these; a quick phone search settles it.
• Hit the new-arrivals bin first. That's where fresh stock lands before anyone else sees it. The good stuff rarely survives the week.
• Visit on restock days. Shops process collections on rhythms. Ask when new used stock hits the floor and time your visits.
• Note the shop's specialties. Every shop leans somewhere — soul, punk, jazz, classical. Find the lean that matches yours, then dig the others anyway.

What we're watching for in Adana

A real record shop: new vinyl, used vinyl, or both, with bins to dig. Independents and specialists all count. The vinyl wall at the lifestyle chain doesn't.

When a qualifying record store gets mapped in Adana, this page updates on the next refresh with its name, address where available, and whatever hours, phone or website the mappers recorded. Nothing here is paid placement and nothing is sponsored — if it's on the map, it's on the page.

This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so the moment a qualifying record store appears in Adana's OpenStreetMap data, it shows up here — usually within a day of being mapped.

How Adana gets on the record stores map

Every listing on Dayfari starts as an OpenStreetMap edit by a local volunteer. If you know a record store in Adana, adding it to the map (tagged shop=music) is the fastest way to get it listed here — our next refresh picks it up automatically. The most useful details are the record store's name, its street address, and its opening hours — even a name and a pin on the map is enough to get started.
