Record stores in Ciwidey

Zero mapped record stores in Ciwidey, West Java — for now. We checked OpenStreetMap within about 25 km of Ciwidey for record stores. No hits yet, which most often means the places are there but unmapped, not absent. This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so a blank today can be a full guide tomorrow.

Why record shops matter

A record shop is a town's music memory: the staff who know, the regulars who dig, the new-arrivals bin that's different every week. Algorithms don't do any of that. That's why this page exists even with nothing to list — we'd rather show an honest blank than invent shops in Ciwidey.

Ciwidey sits near the equator. There's no real off-season for digging here, so shops restock on their own rhythms — ask when new used stock hits the floor.

Every shop that gets mapped here appears in alphabetical order with what the community map knows: address, hours, website. No sponsored slots, ever.

Digging smarts for Ciwidey

No mapped record shops yet, but the digging skills work anywhere. Four worth knowing:

• Bring cash for the small shops. Some independents prefer it, and a cash offer on a stack can occasionally move the price.
• Check for box sets. Box sets get broken up or sold whole; either way the per-record price is often excellent.
• Buy the weird stuff. Private pressings, local bands, oddball compilations — the strange records are the ones that appreciate.
• Ask the staff what's new. Shop staff know what's just come in and what's about to. One question can save an hour of digging.

What earns a listing in Ciwidey

Our bar is a walk-in shop selling recorded music on physical formats. New, used, or both — if the bins are the business, it qualifies.

When a qualifying record store gets mapped in Ciwidey, this page updates on the next refresh with its name, address where available, and whatever hours, phone or website the mappers recorded. Nothing here is paid placement and nothing is sponsored — if it's on the map, it's on the page.

This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so the moment a qualifying record store appears in Ciwidey's OpenStreetMap data, it shows up here — usually within a day of being mapped.

One edit is all it takes

Dayfari's record stores listings are read straight from OpenStreetMap, which means anyone can fix them. A record store in Ciwidey needs exactly one volunteer to add it — tagged shop=music — and the next refresh pulls it onto this page automatically. The most useful details are the record store's name, its street address, and its opening hours — even a name and a pin on the map is enough to get started.
