Arcades in Khorramabad

Zero mapped arcades in Khorramabad, Lorestan Province — for now. We checked OpenStreetMap within about 40 km of Khorramabad for arcades. No hits yet, which most often means the places are there but unmapped, not absent. This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so a blank today can be a full guide tomorrow.

Classic, bar-arcade, retro: the three flavours

Classic arcades are all-ages and game-first. Bar-arcades mix drinks with cabinets and skew adult in the evenings. Retro venues curate the old cabinets lovingly and often run the best-maintained floors. All three count here, and the best arcade towns have all three.

Khorramabad sits about 33° north of the equator, so it gets proper seasons. Arcades are gloriously weatherproof, and winter is peak season: when it's dark at five, the neon looks its best and the floors are busiest.

When Khorramabad's arcades do get mapped, check the websites for tournament nights and free-play evenings — that's where the real value is.

Arcade smarts for Khorramabad

No mapped arcades yet, but the arcade skills work anywhere. Four worth knowing:

• Check for party packages. Birthday parties at arcades are a whole industry. If you're organising one, book ahead — weekends sell out.
• Don't feed a broken machine. If it eats your credit without starting, tell staff immediately. Good venues refund; all venues should know.
• Ask about tournaments. Fighting game and pinball tournaments run weekly in many towns. Beginners are usually welcome and it's the fastest way to improve.
• Test the controls before committing. Joysticks drift, buttons stick, guns misalign. One test credit saves a wasted game.

What earns a listing in Khorramabad

Our bar is a dedicated games venue open to the public. Arcades, bar-arcades, retro gaming bars — if the machines are the point, it qualifies. Casino floors don't.

Put Khorramabad on the map

Know an arcade here that isn't listed? The fastest route onto this page runs through OpenStreetMap: add it as leisure=amusement_arcade with its name and address, and it'll appear here after our next daily refresh.
