Arcades in Padua

The map for Padua, Veneto's arcades is still blank. Our search covered roughly 40 km around Padua, looking through OpenStreetMap for arcades, and turned up nothing mapped so far. Blank maps are usually a mapping gap rather than a real gap. This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so a blank today can be a full guide tomorrow.

The arcade regular's playbook

Until Padua has mapped arcades, here's how to work any venue. Go off-peak for your pick of machines. Check the payment system before you load up — tokens, cards, coins, all differ. Set a budget and stop when it's gone. Test the controls with one credit before committing. And bring a friend: everything's better head-to-head.

Padua sits about 45° north of the equator, so it gets proper seasons. Arcades are gloriously weatherproof, and winter is peak season: when it's dark at five, the neon looks its best and the floors are busiest.

Ticket games deserve a warning: the prizes cost more in tickets than cash. Play them for fun, not for the giant plush.

Arcade smarts for Padua

No mapped arcades yet, but the arcade skills work anywhere. Four worth knowing:

• Respect the machine queue. One credit, then rotate on busy machines. Camping a popular cabinet on a Saturday night is poor form.
• Check age policies. Some arcades are all-ages by day and 19+ at night, especially the bar-arcade hybrids. Check before bringing kids.
• Racing games: sit properly. Feet on the pedals, hands at nine and three. The cabinet is a simulator if you treat it like one.
• Dance machines are cardio. Serious players treat them as workouts. Bring water, wear real shoes, and don't be embarrassed — everyone starts somewhere.

What earns a listing in Padua

Our bar is a dedicated games venue open to the public. Arcades, bar-arcades, retro gaming bars — if the machines are the point, it qualifies. Casino floors don't.

When a qualifying arcade gets mapped in Padua, this page updates on the next refresh with its name, address where available, and whatever hours, phone or website the mappers recorded. Nothing here is paid placement and nothing is sponsored — if it's on the map, it's on the page.

This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so the moment a qualifying arcade appears in Padua's OpenStreetMap data, it shows up here — usually within a day of being mapped.

Put Padua on the map

Know an arcade here that isn't listed? The fastest route onto this page runs through OpenStreetMap: add it as leisure=amusement_arcade with its name and address, and it'll appear here after our next daily refresh. Local knowledge beats every dataset. The most useful details are the arcade's name, its street address, and its opening hours — even a name and a pin on the map is enough to get started.
