None of the 1 has opening hours in the map data, so treat this as a browse-and-discover trip. Arcades tend toward long evening hours; call ahead if you're making a special trip.

The one mapped arcade sits on Jirón Gamarra — worth combining with whatever else brings you to that side of town.

Arcade tips for Trujillo

A few things worth knowing before you work through Trujillo's arcades:

• Comfortable shoes at Gangas. You'll stand for hours. This is not the outing for new boots.
• The classics are cheapest. Pac-Man, Galaga, the old cabinets — usually the lowest price per play and still the most fun per minute.
• Racing games: sit properly. Feet on the pedals, hands at nine and three. The cabinet is a simulator if you treat it like one.
• Learn one game deeply. Regulars pick a machine and master it. Chasing high scores on one game beats dabbling across twenty.

Good to know

We searched about 40 km around Trujillo — that covers the town itself plus the surrounding communities you'd reasonably drive to. Listings come from OpenStreetMap, mapped by local volunteers, so a brand-new arcade in Trujillo can take a while to appear. The 1 above are only as current as the community map. A arcade that's shut, or a new one nobody's added yet, gets fixed with a single OpenStreetMap edit.

We don't list machine lineups — they change too often. What we list is the where: real venues, verified by real mappers.

If you run one of the 1 listed here and something's wrong — a closure, a move, new hours — the fix is the same: update the shop on OpenStreetMap and the correction flows through to this page on the next daily refresh.
