Oracle Park is the consensus most beautiful ballpark in America: the bay beyond right field, the kayakers in McCovey Cove waiting for splash hits, the sunset over the water. It opened in 2000 and got everything right.
Baseball in San Francisco is a summer delight: the park's microclimate (bring layers; the bay breeze is real), the downtown location, and the city's charms around it. Here's the playbook.
Giants tickets are reasonable, especially on weeknights. The bleachers are the party; the upper deck behind home plate has the bay views. The McCovey Cove kayakers are free entertainment.
