Board game cafés in Kandy

The map for Kandy, Central's board game cafés is still blank. Our search covered roughly 25 km around Kandy, looking through OpenStreetMap for board game cafés, and turned up nothing mapped so far. Blank maps are usually a mapping gap rather than a real gap. This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so a blank today can be a full guide tomorrow.

Why game cafés matter

A board game café is a town's living room: cheap, social, no screens required. They turn strangers into regulars and regulars into friends. That's why this page exists even with nothing to list — we'd rather show an honest blank than invent venues in Kandy.

Kandy sits near the equator. There's no real off-season for game night here — the tables are waiting year-round, and weeknights are always the quiet insider move.

Every spot that gets mapped here appears in alphabetical order with what the sources know: address, hours, website. No sponsored slots, ever.

Game night smarts for Kandy

No mapped game spots yet, but the game-night skills work anywhere. Four worth knowing:

• Check the party packages. Birthdays and team events at game cafés are excellent. Book ahead — weekends sell out.
• Mind the table time. On busy nights tables turn over. Finish your game, free the table, order another round at the bar.
• Check age policies for evenings. Some venues go 19+ at night. Check before bringing younger players to an evening session.
• Respect the components. Sleeved cards, no drinks on the table edge, pieces back in the box. Treat the library like it's yours.

What earns a listing in Kandy

Our bar is a place built around playing games together. Cafés, bars, shops with tables — if game night can happen there, it qualifies.

When a qualifying board game café gets mapped in Kandy, this page updates on the next refresh with its name, address where available, and whatever hours, phone or website the mappers recorded. Nothing here is paid placement and nothing is sponsored — if it's on the map, it's on the page.

This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so the moment a qualifying board game café appears in Kandy's OpenStreetMap data, it shows up here — usually within a day of being mapped.

One edit is all it takes

Dayfari's board game cafés listings are read straight from OpenStreetMap, which means anyone can fix them. A board game café in Kandy needs exactly one volunteer to add it — tagged shop=games (name-matched) — and the next refresh pulls it onto this page automatically. The most useful details are the board game café's name, its street address, and its opening hours — even a name and a pin on the map is enough to get started.
