Hatebreed and Life of Agony team up for a co-headline show in Poland! The bands will perform on November 6 at Warsaw's Progresja. Legendary polish hardcore band Schizma will play as a support. Even as they enter their fourth decade as a band, Hatebreed show no signs of slowing down. Quite the opposite - the group led by Jamey Jasta continues to prove why they remain one of the most important names in heavy music. Their hardcore, packed with metallic influences, has always delivered. Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire, Perseverance, and The Rise of Brutality are all landmark releases within the genre ("Live for This" from the latter was even nominated for a Grammy Award), but the truth is that the Bridgeport, Connecticut outfit has never really released a weak album. At the end of last year, Hatebreed unveiled "Make the Demons Obey" - a thrash-infused crusher that serves as the first taste of their upcoming album, their first in six years. Looking for a band that encapsulates the spirit of '90s American guitar music? Life of Agony would be a strong contender. Their debut album, River Runs Red, which drew from New York hardcore, groove metal, and grunge, was included in Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time. On its follow-up, Ugly, the band refreshed its sound and leaned further into alternative rock, resulting in the first entry of their career on the Billboard 200 chart. Led by Keith Caputo, Life of Agony remain a powerful live act, and this run with Hatebreed will be yet another testament to that. Schizma are a legendary name in the Polish hardcore scene, active since 1990. They have always been uncompromising when it comes to their music and brutally honest in their lyrics. Their CV includes eight full-length albums, tours across Europe, including shows with L'Esprit du Clan, as well as a performance in South Korea. They're always a powerhouse live, making them the perfect band to kick off the evening.
