Farmers markets in Hobart
There's no faster way to like Hobart more than a Saturday morning at the farmers market. Coffee in one hand, a tote bag filling up in the other — it's the cheapest good time in town, and you come home with dinner.
Peak season runs November through March. February stone fruit is the thing to plan around — get there early, it sells out fast.

Smaller can be better. The huge downtown market is fun, but the 15-stall neighbourhood one often has the friendliest vendors and the shortest lines.
