Free in Truro
8 free things are on in Truro over the next month (Oct 7 – Nov 5, 2026) — storytimes, drop-ins, gallery days, club nights and more, every one of them listed as free by its own organiser. MacRae Library alone accounts for 2 of them. No tickets, no catch — if a listing asks you to register ahead, the card says so.

What "free" means here
Every listing on this page was published by its organiser as free — no ticket price. A few are by donation (pay what you can), and some free programs still ask you to register ahead; the listing itself says which. If a price appears on the organiser's page that isn't here, theirs wins — tell us and we'll fix the card.
Looking for places that are always free — parks, gardens, viewpoints? Those live on the free things to do in Truro guide.

Common questions
What can I do in Truro for free?
8 free events are listed for the next month, including “Annual General Meeting & PD Day” at Truro Council Chambers. The full dated list is on this page.
Are these events really free?
Yes — each one was published by its organiser with no ticket price, or sits in the town's free-things tier. A few are by donation, and some ask for free registration ahead of time; both are marked on the listing.
How often is this page updated?
It is rebuilt from the town's event feed on the publisher's regular schedule, so new free listings land as organisers post them and past ones roll off.
