Halloween events in Saugeen Shores

lights as part of Pumpkinfest Friday Night Lights; event area opens 5:30 p.m., pre-game ceremony 6:45 p.m., kickoff 7:00 p.m.; admission students/families $5, general $10 (organizer forms). Filed by D under T46 (festival layer) with the T15 school limb noted - SDSS is the town's school; KDSS is Kincardine's team visiting, never a Saugeen Shores seat claim. Just past at build date - retained as the dated season record.

Dates, hours and prices are from the ORGANIZER's own site (pumpkinfest.org, Hours & Admission page): Pumpkinfest Village admission as priced above, and the OLG Cinderella's Carriage Car Show open 10 AM-4 PM both days with downtown road closures 7 AM-5 PM. The festival's signature programme is its giant-vegetable weigh-offs alongside the car show, midway, artisan craft show and family activities in the downtown core. A Friday-night Pub-Kin Crawl (Fri Oct 2, 2026, shuttle between Port Elgin and Southampton venues, 6 PM-midnight, per the organizer's own attractions page) opens the weekend - documented in tiers-C.json, not staged as a separate record. PAST at build (Oct 9, 2026) - staged as the verified 2026 canon record. NOTE: Pumpkinfest is a festival with sanctioned weigh-off competitions; it is NOT an OAAS agricultural-society fall fair - see T53, where that distinction is adjudicated.
