Good to know

Most library programs are free, but the popular ones need registration — sign up on the library's site, don't just show up.
Storytimes fill up fast on weekend mornings; weekday sessions are calmer and easier with a stroller.
Big library systems run the same program at different branches on different days — check the branch before you go.
Bring your library card: some workshops, equipment bookings, and room reservations require one.
