Record stores in Boston Bar

We haven't mapped any record stores in Boston Bar, British Columbia yet. We searched about 25 km around town in OpenStreetMap's community data — record stores — and came up empty. That usually means the places exist but nobody's mapped them, not that there's nothing to find. This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so a blank today can be a full guide tomorrow.

Why record shops matter

A record shop is a town's music memory: the staff who know, the regulars who dig, the new-arrivals bin that's different every week. Algorithms don't do any of that. That's why this page exists even with nothing to list — we'd rather show an honest blank than invent shops in Boston Bar.

Boston Bar sits about 50° north of the equator, so it gets proper seasons. Winter is peak digging season: dark evenings, the new-arrivals bin fresh from the autumn collection sell-offs, and nowhere better to spend a Saturday.

Every shop that gets mapped here appears in alphabetical order with what the community map knows: address, hours, website. No sponsored slots, ever.

Digging smarts for Boston Bar

No mapped record shops yet, but the digging skills work anywhere. Four worth knowing:

• Ask to play it. Good shops have turntables for exactly this. If they won't let you listen, that's information too.
• Bring a want-list. Write down what you're hunting. Digging is fun, but a list turns luck into strategy.
• Ask about want-list services. Good shops will keep an eye out for your grails. It takes patience, but the call when it lands is worth it.
• Hit the new-arrivals bin first. That's where fresh stock lands before anyone else sees it. The good stuff rarely survives the week.

This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so the moment a qualifying record store appears in Boston Bar's OpenStreetMap data, it shows up here — usually within a day of being mapped.

One edit is all it takes

Dayfari's record stores listings are read straight from OpenStreetMap, which means anyone can fix them. A record store in Boston Bar needs exactly one volunteer to add it — tagged shop=music — and the next refresh pulls it onto this page automatically. The most useful details are the record store's name, its street address, and its opening hours — even a name and a pin on the map is enough to get started.
