Record digging tips for Graz

Digging in Graz? A few habits pay off:

• Ask the staff what's new at inandout records. Shop staff know what's just come in and what's about to. One question can save an hour of digging.
• Check the turntable section at Dux Records. Many record shops sell used decks and cartridges. A serviced vintage turntable beats a cheap new one.
• Hit the new-arrivals bin first. That's where fresh stock lands before anyone else sees it. The good stuff rarely survives the week.
• Check the bargain wall rhythm. Shops restock the cheap sections on cycles. Ask when — that's when the fresh bargains land.

Good to know

We searched about 25 km around Graz — that covers the town itself plus the surrounding communities you'd reasonably drive to. Listings come from OpenStreetMap, mapped by local volunteers, so a brand-new record store in Graz can take a while to appear. Spotted a closure among the 3, or a record store we missed entirely? The map is the source of truth here — one OpenStreetMap edit corrects it for everyone.

We don't list prices or stock — both change by the day. What we list is the where: real shops, verified by real mappers.

If you run one of the 3 listed here and something's wrong — a closure, a move, new hours — the fix is the same: update the shop on OpenStreetMap and the correction flows through to this page on the next daily refresh.
