Record stores in Muna

Zero mapped record stores in Muna, Yucatán — for now. We checked OpenStreetMap within about 25 km of Muna for record stores. No hits yet, which most often means the places are there but unmapped, not absent. This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so a blank today can be a full guide tomorrow.

What Muna's record page will look like

We can't describe shops that aren't mapped yet, but we can say what the listing will contain: the shop's name, whether it's new, used, or both, its street address where the map has one, and any hours, phone or website the mappers recorded. No paid placement, no sponsored slots — if it's on the map, it's on the page.

Muna sits near the equator. There's no real off-season for digging here, so shops restock on their own rhythms — ask when new used stock hits the floor.

Until then, Muna remains a blank worth filling. Record shops thrive wherever music lovers live — they just need someone local to put them on the map.

Digging smarts for Muna

No mapped record shops yet, but the digging skills work anywhere. Four worth knowing:

• Inspect the seams. Split seams and ring wear tell you how a record lived. Light wear is fine; trashed sleeves drag the value.
• Sleeves matter for value. Original inner sleeves, inserts, posters — completeness counts. A bare record in a generic sleeve is worth less.
• Handle records properly in the shop. By the edges, never the grooves. Shops notice, and so do the records.
• Check the dead wax. The runout groove holds matrix numbers that identify pressings. Collectors live by these; a quick phone search settles it.

What earns a listing in Muna

Our bar is a walk-in shop selling recorded music on physical formats. New, used, or both — if the bins are the business, it qualifies.

When a qualifying record store gets mapped in Muna, this page updates on the next refresh with its name, address where available, and whatever hours, phone or website the mappers recorded. Nothing here is paid placement and nothing is sponsored — if it's on the map, it's on the page.

This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so the moment a qualifying record store appears in Muna's OpenStreetMap data, it shows up here — usually within a day of being mapped.

One edit is all it takes

Dayfari's record stores listings are read straight from OpenStreetMap, which means anyone can fix them. A record store in Muna needs exactly one volunteer to add it — tagged shop=music — and the next refresh pulls it onto this page automatically. The most useful details are the record store's name, its street address, and its opening hours — even a name and a pin on the map is enough to get started.
