Record digging tips for Nevada City

Digging in Nevada City? A few habits pay off:

• Learn your labels at Clock Tower Rcords. Certain labels mean certain quality. A quick education in the labels of your favourite genres pays off fast.
• Don't overlook cassettes and CDs at Ron's Real Records. The tape and CD sections are chronically underpriced. The format revival hasn't hit them the same way.
• Check Discogs before big purchases. A quick price check on your phone keeps everyone honest — you and the shop.
• Check for warps in the shop. Hold the record at eye level and sight along it. Warps that look minor at home look obvious in the store.

We don't list prices or stock — both change by the day. What we list is the where: real shops, verified by real mappers.

If you run one of the 2 listed here and something's wrong — a closure, a move, new hours — the fix is the same: update the shop on OpenStreetMap and the correction flows through to this page on the next daily refresh.
