Record stores in Puerto Vallarta

Zero mapped record stores in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco — for now. We checked OpenStreetMap within about 25 km of Puerto Vallarta for record stores. No hits yet, which most often means the places are there but unmapped, not absent. This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so a blank today can be a full guide tomorrow.

What Puerto Vallarta's record page will look like

We can't describe shops that aren't mapped yet, but we can say what the listing will contain: the shop's name, whether it's new, used, or both, its street address where the map has one, and any hours, phone or website the mappers recorded. No paid placement, no sponsored slots — if it's on the map, it's on the page.

Puerto Vallarta sits near the equator. There's no real off-season for digging here, so shops restock on their own rhythms — ask when new used stock hits the floor.

Until then, Puerto Vallarta remains a blank worth filling. Record shops thrive wherever music lovers live — they just need someone local to put them on the map.

Digging smarts for Puerto Vallarta

No mapped record shops yet, but the digging skills work anywhere. Four worth knowing:

• Learn to spot reissues. Reissues are cheaper and often sound great. Originals cost more for the history. Know which you're paying for.
• Check the dead wax. The runout groove holds matrix numbers that identify pressings. Collectors live by these; a quick phone search settles it.
• Hit the new-arrivals bin first. That's where fresh stock lands before anyone else sees it. The good stuff rarely survives the week.
• Check Discogs before big purchases. A quick price check on your phone keeps everyone honest — you and the shop.

The kind of shop that belongs here

Somewhere you can flip through crates: an independent record shop, a used vinyl specialist. Not a department store aisle — a real dig.

When a qualifying record store gets mapped in Puerto Vallarta, this page updates on the next refresh with its name, address where available, and whatever hours, phone or website the mappers recorded. Nothing here is paid placement and nothing is sponsored — if it's on the map, it's on the page.

This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so the moment a qualifying record store appears in Puerto Vallarta's OpenStreetMap data, it shows up here — usually within a day of being mapped.

Put Puerto Vallarta on the map

Know a record store here that isn't listed? The fastest route onto this page runs through OpenStreetMap: add it as shop=music with its name and address, and it'll appear here after our next daily refresh. Local knowledge beats every dataset. The most useful details are the record store's name, its street address, and its opening hours — even a name and a pin on the map is enough to get started.
