Record stores in Sucre

The map for Sucre, Chuquisaca Department's record stores is still blank. Our search covered roughly 40 km around Sucre, looking through OpenStreetMap for record stores, and turned up nothing mapped so far. Blank maps are usually a mapping gap rather than a real gap. This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so a blank today can be a full guide tomorrow.

What counts as a record store in Sucre

A shop whose main business is selling recorded music on physical formats: new vinyl, used vinyl, or both. That covers independents and the specialists. What doesn't count: the vinyl wall at the lifestyle chain, and online-only sellers. The bar is a real shop with real bins to dig.

Sucre sits near the equator. There's no real off-season for digging here, so shops restock on their own rhythms — ask when new used stock hits the floor.

When record shops in Sucre get mapped, they appear here with addresses and hours where recorded. Mapped means listed — no paid placement, no favourites.

Digging smarts for Sucre

No mapped record shops yet, but the digging skills work anywhere. Four worth knowing:

• Visit on restock days. Shops process collections on rhythms. Ask when new used stock hits the floor and time your visits.
• Note the shop's specialties. Every shop leans somewhere — soul, punk, jazz, classical. Find the lean that matches yours, then dig the others anyway.
• Go often, dig briefly. Short frequent visits beat rare expeditions. Fifteen minutes twice a week outperforms a monthly dig.
• Genre-hop. The best finds are in the sections you don't know. Jazz collectors find gold in the classical bins and vice versa.

What earns a listing in Sucre

Our bar is a walk-in shop selling recorded music on physical formats. New, used, or both — if the bins are the business, it qualifies.

When a qualifying record store gets mapped in Sucre, this page updates on the next refresh with its name, address where available, and whatever hours, phone or website the mappers recorded. Nothing here is paid placement and nothing is sponsored — if it's on the map, it's on the page.

This page refreshes daily from the latest map data, so the moment a qualifying record store appears in Sucre's OpenStreetMap data, it shows up here — usually within a day of being mapped.

How Sucre gets on the record stores map

Every listing on Dayfari starts as an OpenStreetMap edit by a local volunteer.
