Tattoo tips for Assen

First tattoo or fiftieth — the rules don't change in Assen:

• Ask about touch-ups at Tattoo Lucky 7. Most reputable shops offer free or cheap touch-ups within the first year. Ask about the policy up front.
• Be honest about your pain tolerance. Ribs, feet and inner arms hurt more. A good artist will tell you straight and plan breaks.
• A second opinion is fine. Consult two studios if you're unsure. Good artists respect it; only the insecure ones mind.
• Aftercare is half the tattoo. Follow the artist's instructions, not your friend's. Keep it clean, keep it moisturised, keep it out of the sun.
