Tattoo shops in Reno
A tattoo is a permanent decision made in a room you'll spend hours in, so the studio matters as much as the artist. Reno, Nevada has 17 tattoo shops mapped right now. All 17 are mapped as tattoo studios proper, and each one is worth a portfolio browse before you commit — style varies more between shops than towns.
This guide covers every tattoo shop we could verify in and around Reno (within about 25 km), built from OpenStreetMap's community-maintained data. Names you'll run into include Infinite Ink and Triumph Tattoo, plus Avenue Tattoo. If a studio's missing from Reno's list, it probably just hasn't been mapped yet — the scene is bigger than any single dataset.

Tattoo tips for Reno
A few things worth knowing before you work through Reno's tattoo shops:
- A second opinion is fine at Infinite Ink. Consult two studios if you're unsure. Good artists respect it; only the insecure ones mind.
- Moisturise, don't drown it at Triumph Tattoo. Thin layers of the recommended ointment. Too much suffocates the skin and slows healing.
- Ask about the deposit. Custom pieces usually need a deposit that comes off the final price. Ask how it works before you sit down, not after.
- Think about placement long-term. Hands, neck and face limit job options in some fields. Your artist will be honest about this if you ask.
Good to know
We searched about 25 km around Reno — that covers the town itself plus the surrounding communities you'd reasonably drive to. Listings come from OpenStreetMap, mapped by local volunteers, so a brand-new tattoo shop in Reno can take a while to appear. The 17 above are only as current as the community map. A tattoo shop that's shut, or a new one nobody's added yet, gets fixed with a single OpenStreetMap edit.
We don't rate studios or artists, and we never list prices — those are between you and the shop. What we list is the where and the how-to-find, from places real mappers have verified.
If you run one of the 17 listed here and something's wrong — a closure, a move, new hours — the fix is the same: update the shop on OpenStreetMap and the correction flows through to this page on the next daily refresh.
