The Surrey Town Board

This is Surrey, BC's board — 660 goings-on pinned up for the next 30 days, most of them at Surrey Libraries - City Centre Branch and Surrey Libraries - Semiahmoo Branch. If it is happening around here, it belongs on this board — and if we have missed it, that is what the post-it button is for. A community board by Dayfari — not an official municipal board.

This Week in Surrey

📌 A community board by Dayfari — not an official municipal board. This is our community corkboard — the rec centre, the halls, the clubs, the neighbours. Poke around, pin something up. A note on links: event links take you to the organiser's own site; a few go to booking partners, and if you book through one, Dayfari may earn a small commission — never at extra cost to you.

Post it on the Surrey board

Know something happening in Surrey? Pin it to the board

Snap a photo of the poster — or just tell us what, where, and when — and post it through our submit page. We review every post before it goes up (nothing appears unreviewed), and when it does, your name goes on it: Posted by you, so the neighbours who show up know who to thank.

Post an event

Free, always. School concerts, legion suppers, minor hockey, yard sales, church suppers, club nights — if it happens in Surrey, it belongs here.

Help make this board better

This board is ours — neighbours built it and neighbours keep it honest. See something missing? A wrong date, a hall we have not listed, a group planning something in Surrey that should be pinned up? Tell us and we will fix it or add it. Your corrections are quite literally what makes this board trustworthy.

Send a correction or a tip — the same submit page handles tips, fixes, and new events, and we read every one.

Your business belongs on the board

Plenty of good local businesses have no website at all — a Facebook page, maybe, and a sign on the road. A Dayfari Business page gives you a proper home online: your hours, your photos, your story, found by neighbours and visitors alike, for $20/month (add the SEO Boost for $10 if you want it).

Town Board offer: sign up through this board and take 10% off the monthly price — $27/month all-in instead of $30, for as long as you stay a member. The discount is attached to your signup here and applied on our billing side automatically.

Get your business on the Surrey board

Dayfari Business is our own paid product — that is the disclosure, plain as we can make it. No fake urgency, no countdown timers; the offer sits here whenever you are ready.

The Surrey board, in your inbox every Friday

Get the Surrey board in your inbox every Friday — what's on this weekend, straight from this board.

One short email on Friday morning. The weekend's events, anything new your neighbours have posted, nothing else. No spam, unsubscribe anytime.

Common questions

Is the Surrey Town Board an official town page?

No. A community board by Dayfari — not an official municipal board. We are neighbours putting up a community board for Surrey; for official notices, bylaws, and town services, check the municipality's own website.

How do I get something posted on the Surrey board?

Use the Post an event button — a photo of the poster is enough. We review every post before it appears, and your name is shown on it as the poster once it is up.

How often is the board updated?

We refresh the listings from our local sources regularly, and neighbours' approved posts go up as they come in. The Friday email rounds up whatever is on the board that week.

Why does the board show events from nearby towns?

Small-town life does not stop at the town line. When Surrey's own board is quiet, we show what is on within about 40 km, clearly labelled with the town it is in.
