Live music
Live music in Fort Erie: a concert room, a bandshell and a fort
Rooms and occasions, not a bar circuit -- the music layer at its real strength.
Live music in Fort Erie lives in a concert room, a fort, a bandshell and a festival that is already past
Fort Erie's music layer is rooms and occasions, not a circuit of bars: a dedicated concert room in Ridgeway, heritage-site evenings at the fort, a bandshell ground in the Crystal Beach waterfront park, community concerts in the halls, and one big festival weekend a year -- Ridgefest, in July, past at this build and carried as the canon shape. The dated autumn layer is thinner and more distinctive: the film circuit's nights, the halls and History on Tap's fort evening.
The room, first: Ridgeway's Ridge Road arts strip, the town's evening-room layer: The Sanctuary -- Centre for the Arts, 209 Ridge Road North, a dedicated concert room whose dated bills ride the Town calendar (a tribute bill on September 11, 2026 is past at this build and carried as the room's pattern); and the Fort Erie Arts Council's Hub and Gallery at 246 Ridge Road North, the council's own home, gallery and classroom
The music, room by room
The festival shape
Fort Erie's 2026 festival spine, each edition on its organizer's own published record and each PAST at this build: Ridgefest, the Ridgeway BIA's three-day summer festival in downtown Ridgeway, Friday July 10 to Sunday July 12, 2026 -- Friday concerts, the Saturday farmers and vendors market, the Rods & Relics car show and a Sunday family day; and the Siege of Fort Erie reenactment at Old Fort Erie, Saturday August 8 and Sunday August 9, 2026, on Niagara Parks' own page. No 2027 edition of either has been announced on the surfaces read, and no date is derived here from any past pattern Ridgefest's Friday concerts are the town's biggest music nights of the year -- summer's, and summer's only.
The fort evenings
Old Fort Erie, 350 Lakeshore Road -- the town's defining historic site, seated in Fort Erie and operated by Niagara Parks, the provincial agency; both facts print together, always. The site carries the town's War of 1812 layer: the fort, its siege story and the annual Siege of Fort Erie reenactment weekend, whose 2026 edition ran Saturday August 8 and Sunday August 9, 2026 on Niagara Parks' own published page -- a past edition at this build, carried as canon, with the next edition announced on the operator's own surface and never derived here. In season the site also hosts History on Tap, with a dated evening on Saturday October 24, 2026, presented by Niagara Parks with Niagara College Music rides the fort's programming in season -- the Siege weekend's camp and ceremony sound, and the autumn drinks evening on October 24.
The bandshell ground
The Sugarbowl Bandshell in the Crystal Beach waterfront park was formally opened on June 18, 2026, on the Town's calendar -- a new outdoor music ground for the beach village, with community concert instances riding the Town calendar and the friends-of-the-park layer as they are published, never assumed.

How to read this town's music calendar
Check three surfaces and you have the town: the Town's community calendar (which carries The Sanctuary's dated bills and the bandshell's), the Ridgeway BIA's surfaces for the village's music, and Niagara Parks for the fort. What you will not find is a weekly bar-band strip -- Fort Erie's music is booked, dated and roomed, and a quiet week is a true week, printed as one.
