Classes in Sorel-Tracy: ice, campus and citizen teaching
A club that teaches its season, a cegep in town and a library stream -- the class layer verified.
Classes and experiences in Sorel-Tracy: learn on ice, on campus and at the school board's own seat
Sorel-Tracy's class layer is institutional in the best way: a live curling club teaching its season, a cegep with formation continue, an adult-education centre seated in town, and a school-service centre headquartered here for the whole MRC. Every class layer below sits on its operator's own published surface.

Curling, taught by its club
the Club de curling Aurele-Racine, 3010 place des Loisirs, in the place des Loisirs cluster -- LIVE for the current season on the club's own site: its Equipes 2026-2027 page was updated September 22, 2026, leagues begin Monday October 5, 2026 with registration still open, and a Junior inscription form runs activities from Wednesday October 14, 2026. Curling Quebec names the club host site of the Championnat provincial senior masculin, March 17 to 21, 2027. No sheet count is printed anywhere in this guide: a count appears only on a federation platform record, the club's own surfaces state none, and a count prints only when the club states it A club that publishes its teams, its leagues and a junior inscription is a club that teaches: the fall registration window is the door, and the club's own site is the register.
The cegep and adult education
the Cegep de Sorel-Tracy, main campus at 3000 boulevard de Tracy -- a genuine in-town post-secondary seat, founded in 1967, with a community-open Centre sportif at the same address. Its Campus de Varennes is in Varennes and is firewalled as that town's venue wherever it is named. No university is seated in Sorel-Tracy. Beside the cegep sits the region's school seat: the Centre de services scolaire de Sorel-Tracy, headquartered in town at 41 avenue de l'Hotel-Dieu, serving the MRC's schools -- a school-board headquarters, printed as itself, never as a campus Adult and vocational learning is seated here too: the Centre de formation professionnelle et d'education aux adultes de Sorel-Tracy (CFPEAST) runs its centres in town for the region's adult learners, and the cegep's formation continue rides the same campus.
Arts, music and the library stream
The Centre culturel / cafe-theatre Les Beaux Instants at 3015 place des Loisirs, the Maison de la musique and the Societe historique's heritage programming carry the arts layer, and the library stream on the Ville calendar (its Club de lecture met September 10, 2026) carries the citizen layer -- sessions publish in the Ville's Activites des bibliotheques stream, at session grade.
How registration works here
Registration routes through the operators: the club's own inscription forms, the cegep's and CFPEAST's own admissions, and the Ville's recreation programming for its sessions. This page prints the layer and its seats; the current session's dates, prices and places live on those surfaces, and no session is derived here from last season's grid. One regional note: the Cegep de Sorel-Tracy, main campus at 3000 boulevard de Tracy -- a genuine in-town post-secondary seat, founded in 1967, with a community-open Centre sportif at the same address. Its Campus de Varennes is in Varennes and is firewalled as that town's venue wherever it is named. No university is seated in Sorel-Tracy. -- its Varennes campus is Varennes' venue, and classes there are that town's record.
