Things to do in Reims at night
The cathedral glows, the Erlon terraces fill, and the champagne bars stay open late - Reims after dark is quieter than Paris and all the better for it.
After dark, before the clubs
The cathedral owns the Reims night. In summer, the Rêve de Couleurs light show projects colour and history across the west facade after dark - free, and the parvis fills with locals as well as tourists. Dates change yearly; the tourist office (6 Rue Rockefeller) confirms the season. Even without the show, the floodlit towers from the Place du Parvis are worth the walk.
From there, the evening splits two ways: the Place Drouet-d'Erlon terraces for a long apéro that becomes dinner, or a champagne bar - Le Parvis (2 Rue Rockefeller) stays open late Friday and Saturday. The Porte de Mars, floodlit, makes a fine night-time stroll on the way home.
The late shift
After midnight the options narrow to the clubs: Atrium (14 Rue du Commerce, Thu-Sat from 11:30pm), La Loge (35 Rue Buirette, Wed-Sat), Cristal Club (50 Place Drouet d'Erlon, Fri-Sat to 6am). Full details in the nightlife guide.
