Farmers' markets & local food
Clearview markets: a Thursday night in Stayner, a Friday afternoon in Brentwood
The township markets twice a week in season, in two different keys: a Thursday-evening festival-market in the seat, and a Friday-afternoon village market in Brentwood. Both get their full weight here.
Two markets, at full weight
Clearview markets twice in season, in two communities. Stayner's Music, Market & Park It fills Station Park on Thursday evenings through the summer -- the county listing runs it June 5 to August 28, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. -- with farmers and food vendors, wineries and artisans, a classic-car display, children's activities, gazebo music and a licensed area run by the Stayner Kinsmen. Brentwood's farmers' market answers on Friday afternoons at Brentwood Hall, 9926 County Road 10 -- the county listing runs it Fridays 3 to 7 p.m., May 29 to October 9 in 2026. Farm stands and markets like Fernwood Farms near Stayner carry the rest of the week. Creemore's Saturday market is Creemore's own record, cross-linked, never copied here.
The two forms are worth distinguishing. Stayner's is an evening out -- market plus cars plus music plus a licensed area, in the downtown park. Brentwood's is a village market in the classic shape -- hall, lot, growers and makers, done by supper. Between them, the farm stands carry the local-food week.
The markets and the farm gate
The Thursday night
Thursdays in summer, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the county listing (June 5 to August 28): farmers, food vendors, wineries, artisans and community groups in the Station Park lot, classic cars on display, children's activities, gazebo music and the Kinsmen's licensed bar. Finished for 2026; the form returns next summer.
The Friday afternoon
Fridays 3 to 7 p.m. at 9926 County Road 10 on the county listing -- May 29 to October 9 in 2026, so its last market of the season lands on this guide's build day. A village-hall market: the growers and makers of the township's south-west.
The farm gate
Farm markets and stands on the county's farm-fresh mapping carry the daily layer: Fernwood Farms near Stayner is the documented anchor -- produce, baking, preserves and pick-your-own seasons on the farm's own surfaces.
The Creemore market, in its own name
Creemore's Saturday farmers' market at Station on the Green is one of the region's best-known markets -- and it is Creemore's own record, in Creemore's own guide, cross-linked from this page and never copied into this township's market list. A Clearview market weekend can still use it: Stayner Thursday, Brentwood Friday, Creemore Saturday -- three markets, two registry towns, each printed under its own name.
Season honesty
October is the markets' edge: Brentwood's season ends October 9, 2026 on the county listing, and Stayner's Thursday nights ended in late August. This page prints both as seasonal forms with their seasons stated, so an October reader is never sent to an empty lot.
